In the UK, only registered dentists are legally allowed to prescribe whitening at the strengths needed to actually work — anything stronger sold elsewhere is illegal and risky.
After a short consultation and clean at our London clinic, we take impressions and make you slim, custom whitening trays. You wear them at home with the prescribed gel — typically for 30 minutes a day, or overnight while you sleep — for around 2 weeks. We see you for a follow-up to confirm the result and offer top-up gel whenever you'd like to refresh the shade in future.
Avoiding heavily staining foods and drinks (red wine, dark berries, coffee, smoking) for the first 48 hours after each treatment really helps. Long-term, regular hygienist visits keep stains from rebuilding — and a single top-up tray every 6–12 months keeps your smile looking its best.
