Direct access hygiene at Sure Smile Clinic London starts from £85 for a 30-minute appointment. Longer 45- or 60-minute visits are available and priced accordingly.

Do I need to see a dentist first?

No. GDC direct access rules allow you to book straight in with our hygienists for cleaning, gum care and preventive advice.

Can I keep my current dentist?

Absolutely. Many direct access patients are registered elsewhere and come to us purely for hygiene care. We can write to your dentist with our findings if you wish.

What if the hygienist finds a problem?

They will explain what they have seen and arrange an appointment with one of our dentists, or refer you back to your own dentist for diagnosis and treatment.

How often should I book?

Every six months suits most people; every three to four months is better if you have gum disease, smoke or wear implants.
