Do I need X-rays every time?

No. We take X-rays only when they will change the diagnosis or treatment plan — typically every 12–24 months depending on your risk of decay.

Can I have a hygiene appointment at the same visit?

We start by listening — any pain, sensitivity, concerns about how your smile looks. Then we examine every tooth surface, existing fillings and crowns, your gums, your bite and the soft tissues of your mouth, lips and tongue. Digital X-rays are taken only when they will change what we recommend.

How often should you come back?

Six months suits most patients, but it is not a fixed rule. If your gums are healthy and your risk of decay is low we may recommend 9–12 months. If you smoke, have gum disease, dry mouth or a history of decay, 3–4 months keeps you far safer. We set your interval based on evidence, not habit.
