What composite bonding can fix

  • Small gaps between teeth
  • Chipped or worn edges
  • Slightly uneven or asymmetric teeth
  • Pointy canine teeth that look too aggressive
  • Small discoloured patches
  • Refining the result of clear-aligner treatment

For larger changes, or if you'd like to lighten the overall colour, we may recommend combining bonding with whitening or veneers — your dentist will help you choose what's right for you.

How it works

We carefully shade-match a tooth-coloured composite resin to your enamel, then sculpt it directly onto your tooth — building up the shape exactly as planned. The composite is hardened with a special light, then polished to a high gloss. The result is a beautifully natural look, all in a single visit at our London clinic.

Will the procedure hurt?

As a non-invasive procedure, cosmetic bonding is notably frill-free. You may experience a little numbness immediately following treatment, but this should pass in a few hours.

Caring for your bonding

Composite is more porous than porcelain, so it can pick up some staining over time from coffee, tea, red wine and smoking. Regular hygienist visits keep it looking fresh.
